Jeff Amsbaugh entered the ministry in 1987 and has served as a pastor at churches in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Rhode Island. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Jeff serves as an adjunct professor at various Bible colleges and seminaries, both stateside and foreign.
Dr. Amsbaugh, a prolific writer and guest speaker in churches, colleges, and conferences around the world, has conducted numerous family seminars and couples retreats. His emphasis on strengthening families and Christian leaders has uniquely prepared him to address issues pertaining to the home and the gospel ministry.
Jeff has served with several boards and associations, as well as on several doctoral dissertation committees. His own thesis is currently being used in college missions classes across America. He has authored numerous commentaries and curricula.
In September 2012, Dr. Amsbaugh and his wife Karen moved to Johnston, Rhode Island, where he began serving as senior pastor at Greater Rhode Island Baptist Temple. Jeff and Karen are the proud parents of three adult daughters. Jeff enjoys presidential biographies, Sudoku, and a good cup of coffee.

Associate Pastor, Youth and Music Director
Pastor Krampert graduated from Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, NC in 2002.
He and his wife, Christy, joined the pastoral staff in 2003. Together, they have invested countless hours in counseling and teaching teenagers the Word of God. Pastor Krampert plans monthly activities, giving teenagers a controlled environment that fosters Godly attitudes and character. Each Wednesday he preaches a Bible message that is both understandable and relevant to teen life.
Pastor Tom also organizes and leads our choir and music ministry.

Associate Pastor, Children and Media Director
Joe Faulk was raised in a pastor's home and early on sensed the call of God to follow in the same path of ministry and preaching God's Word. He graduated from New England Baptist College in Southington, CT in 2007. Joe pastored a church in Connecticut for three years. Then in 2010, he and his wife, Susannah, moved to Rhode Island to serve at GRIBT.
Joe oversees children's ministries and events. He endeavors to teach children to keep sensitive hearts toward God, obey His Word, and find His will for their lives as they develop into adolescents. He strives to keep an exciting atmosphere for the children whether in class, Patch Club, or a special activity.
Pastor Joe also administrates church media.

Pastor Crichton founded the Greater Rhode Island Baptist Temple in March of 1975. Together with his wife Ginny, he faithfully served the Lord, our church, and our community for 37 years as our senior pastor. In September of 2012, Pastor Crichton became our Pastor Emeritus as he stepped down from the role of senior pastor. Currently, he and Ginny continue to serve the Lord, as an extension of our church, in the roles of helping other ministries with church planting, itinerant preaching, and personal evangelism, not to mention numerous speaking engagements literally around the world.
